365: Doctors' Day

March 30 is Doctors' Day. Our original plan was to celebrate walk in the park day with a walk in both our local park and the ballpark, but it has been raining hard all day.

Instead, we did a little make believe play and turned our playroom into a dinosaur clinic with Jude Christopher, M.D. Jude's favorite part was tasting each tool to make sure it was ready for his Dino patient.

We did work on a few specific skills. We role-played. Jude worked on opening the bag and taking things from it. He worked on grasping things and moving them around without dropping them. I also modeled empathy for Jude (a lot of aww poor dinosaur. I am sorry you are sick. I hope you feel better. Etc.).
