365: Easter

April 21 is Easter this year. I try to avoid mainstream holidays, but I wanted to spend the day focusing on my family. So, we went with the holiday we were planning on celebrating anyway!

The day was filled with laughter and family. Jude got a fun little Easter basket filled with play silks, shakers, and Beanie Boos.

We  also went to an Easter egg hunt with the Coyle side of our family. It was lovely. Jude got to work on his social skills with his family (and seeing unfamiliar faces). He worked on his fine motor skills with picking eggs up during the hunt. And, he got to work on his gross motor skills by crawling and walking (with assistance) around. Jude was also exposed to some new vocabulary: resurrection, Easter, hallelujah, hunt (to name a few). It was a very fun and accidentally educational day! We hope everyone had a Happy Easter!
