We celebrated the day by visiting our favorite local ice cream shop, Gold Top Dairy Bar. Jude got to enjoy his very own bomb pop in the most messy of fashions. The bomb pop gave us a good reason to talk about colors (red, white, and blue), textures (sticky, wet), and temperatures (cold). We also talked a little bit about melting. Learning is a lot more fun when there is a delicious popsicle involved!
