365: Chicken Soup for the Soul Day

November 12 is Chicken Soup for the Soul Day. I remember reading many of the Chicken Soup books as a child. They were nice stories with mostly happy endings, and that's something I needed! I was hoping they had a Chicken Soup for the Toddler's Soul, but they only have kids (7+), so we celebrated by doing things that made our soul happy.

Our celebration included something that very rarely happens -- we stayed inside at home all day. It couldn't have come at a better time because it is cold with snow all over the ground in Cincinnati. Jude woke up at 4:45am, so he went down for a nap at 9 and slept until 1pm. It was a beautiful lazy morning.

When we finally got moving, we played in the playroom. Some Nugget obstacles were built. Books were read. Snuggles happened. It was all warm soup to our soul!
